LUOR Welcome to the Leichhardt Union of Old Rowers, LUOR (known as LUER, the Leichhardt Union of Ex Rowers, until May 2008).
Annual Christmas Reunion The next LUOR function will be the Christmas Reunion and Lunch, on Sunday 5 December. This year the reunion will feature some of the participants in the 'Cotton Era', Professor David Anderson, the youngest surviving member of the 1952 Olympic Eight will talk of his experiences, and also Forbes Carlisle of swimming fame, who will reveal how he applied the Cotton technique to swimming. More information is in the invitation to everyone in the club to attend. Tickets are payable on the day, and every ticket
goes in the draw to win $400 in the 400 Draw - an important element of LUOR fundraising for the club's fleet. LUOR's most recent contribution to the fleet is the Ted Curtain IV. More information about the reunion in the LUOR newsletter.
